During the course of his 40 years in key high level executive positions in marketing and public relations, Blaise Noto has worked on over 400 theatrical motion picture campaigns, from small independent films such as "Blue Velvet" to Hollywood mega-blockbusters such as "Titanic."  In addition, he created and orchestrated some of the most successful award campaigns for the Oscars, Grammys, the Hollywood Foreign Press' Golden Globes, and national and local film critics societies. He also has done production publicity on numerous motion pictures shot on location in the USA and internationally  including director/producer/ screenwriter Mel Gibson's "Apocalytpo" in Mexico, and director Mark Forster's "The Kite Runner" in Beijing and in Kashgar and Tashkurgan in China's Xinjiang Province on the Silk Road in Northwestern China.

Executive Vice President, Worldwide Publicity (May 1990 to June 2000)

Responsible for creating and implementing National Publicity and Promotion Strategies and Campaigns for all Motion                     Pictures. Administered 35 person staff nationwide. Academy Awards® and Guild campaigns for “Titanic,” “Braveheart” and     “Forrest Gump.” Responsible for Corporate Publicity for Motion Picture Division and Paramount Pictures Studios and Paramount   Pictures Chairman Sherry Lansing, and Viacom Entertainment Group.

Unit Publicity for “Pacific Heights,” Dir. John Schlesinger (1990)

Responsible for all on-set publicity during production of this major motion picture directed by John Schlesinger and starring Michael Keaton, Melanie Griffith and Matthew Modine.

Responsible for creating and implementing National Publicity and Promotion Strategies and Campaigns for all Motion Pictures. Worldwide Licensing and Merchandising for “Dirty Dancing.”

Vice President, Publicity (1985 to 1987)

Responsible for creating and implementing National Publicity and Promotion Strategies and Campaigns for all Motion Pictures.  Worked for publicity related to newly created studio and production facilities in Wilmington, NC by Dino DeLaurentiis.  Company-related personal publicity for Mr. DeLaurentiis.

Responsible for setting up and administering Regional Publicity and Promotion offices in the USA and Canada, and for creating and executing National Promotions Campaigns for all Motion Pictures. Product Placement. Also, served as Unit Publicist on the major motion picture production “Breathless,” starring Richard Gere.
