This was awarded to me for my campaign on "Titanic" and making the soundtrack album sales, including Celine Dion's "My Heart Will Go On" a worldwide hit.
This was a "good luck" gift from producers James Cameron and Jon Landau the day of the Academy Awards. I handled the national release campaign as well as the film's Oscar campaign, which received an historic 14 nominations. That evening, we won 11 Oscars, including Best Picture, which set another record in Oscar history
This was on of the few thank you gifts that Mel Gibson gave to top executives in the marketing department at Paramount Pictures. Not only did I do the theatrical release campaign for "Braveheart," but set up and accompanied Mel Gibson to a three-week persona appearance tour around the USA; got Oscars for him as Best Director, and "Braveheart" as Best Picture; and was one of the people who was instrumental in getting him to move from Warner Bros. to Paramount.
With my ongoing professional relationship with Mel Gibson, I worked on the national and regional publicity and promotion campaign for "The Passion of the Christ" which became the biggest independent film ever.
This signed sheets music from "The Passion of the Christ" was given to me by composer Jon Debney, who was nominated for his score on the film. I was one of a small team of marketing people working on the Oscar campaign.
This award is for (I've Had) The Time of My Life" as Best Original Song from the motion picture, "Dirty Dancing, from Veston Pictures, where I was vice president of marketing and spearheaded the film's award campaigns.
This was presented to me for my important contributions to the marketing and public relations campaigns (and also building a successful wolkwide licensing and merchandising campaign") on the motion picture "Dirty Dancing" and its hot music and soundtrack album.
"Chariots of Fire" was an unexpected Academy winner with an amazing score from Vangelis, and this was given as appreciation for my work on the public relations campaign to make the film and the soundtrack a box-office and critical hit.
The "Dirty Dancing" phenomenon continues with the release of a second album of music from the motion picture which also went multiple platinum.
Alan Carr, the producer of "Grease" sent me this note as a thank you for my role in getting Paramount to do a theatrical release of "Grease" in celebration of its 25th Anniversary -- and bring the legendary Alan Carr back into the media spotlight.
It was "Blue Velvet" that no theater wanted to release, until producer Dino DeLaurenttis and chairman of DEG gave me his blessing to do a PR campaign that made the film a must-see event before the opening. This film went from obscurity, to being a critically acclaimed film that earned director David Lynch ("The Elephant Man") an Oscar nomination for Best Director.
This is he certificate for my Emmy nomination as one of the producing team on "When the Mountain Calls," a feature length documentary shoot in Nepal, Tibet and Bhutan, with an interview by the Dalai Lama. The film was aired national on over 144 PBS-TV stations.
